Short Description Combustion experiments have been carried out in nonuniform obstructed tube of 12.4 m long combined of two parts with diameter of 174 and 520 mm i.d. (Configuration 3). Obstacles spaced by tube diameter. Diameter / Obstruction (BR) for Part 1: 174 mm / 0.6, for Part 2: 520 mm / 0.3.

Combustion of uniform test mixture with 10% of H2 in air was investigated. Ignition point is I2 (Part 2).

Instrumentation Measurements include 6 piezoresistive transducers and 16 collimated germanium photodiodes. Time resolution of 10 µs. The photodiodes were not calibrated, and they provided flame radiation intensity qualitatively.
